Justin and Bridgett’s June 27, 2026 wedding at Olde 41 Premier Banquet Facility in Green Bay, Wisconsin was a celebration filled with color, personality, and the people they love most.
Surrounded by their college friends and family, Justin and Bridgett created a wedding day that felt incredibly personal. Almost everyone in the bridal party already knew one another, which made the entire day feel like one big gathering of close friends rather than a collection of separate groups. There was laughter, happy tears, plenty of dancing, and more than a few surprises along the way.
As a Green Bay wedding photographer, these are the wedding days I love most—the ones where the details are beautiful, but the people and their relationships are what really tell the story.
Getting Ready at Tundra Lodge
The day began at Tundra Lodge Resort in Green Bay, where the wedding party got ready before heading to Olde 41. Bridgett’s younger sisters stood beside her as co-maids of honor, making the day even more meaningful. Their relationship was especially sweet to photograph, and the emotion of the morning was already starting to show during the bridesmaid first look. When Bridgett revealed her wedding-day look, the bridesmaids greeted her with huge smiles, while the mother of the groom couldn't hold back the tears. Bridgett's bridal style was romantic and classic, featuring a lace, mermaid-fitted gown with sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. Her bridesmaids wore soft light-blue dresses, while Justin and his groomsmen wore dark blue suits paired with brown shoes. And then Bridgett decided it was time to add a little chaos to the morning. She surprised the groomsmen by hiding Smirnoffs underneath her wedding dress and “iced” them. The guys took the surprise in stride, laughing as they playfully chugged their drinks. It was one of those spontaneous moments that perfectly captured the fun personality of this wedding party. Once everyone was ready, the group climbed aboard The Bus Guys LLC and headed to Olde 41.
A Colorful Outdoor Ceremony at Olde 41
The ceremony took place outdoors at Olde 41 Premier Banquet Facility, overlooking the quaint Duck Creek. The setting was beautiful, but the ceremony altar was the real showstopper. Bright florals completely enveloped the white trellis, creating a colorful floral backdrop filled with vibrant pops of blue, purple, coral, and pink. Nature’s Best Floral Boutique designed the bouquets and floral arrangements, bringing Bridgett’s colorful vision to life. The vibrant flowers paired beautifully with the wedding party's blue attire and the natural greens surrounding the outdoor ceremony space. But the most meaningful part of the ceremony wasn't the décor. It was the vows. Justin and Bridgett exchanged handwritten vows that described exactly why they work so well together. Justin is laid-back, sweet, and the one who reminds Bridgett to stop, breathe, and laugh. Bridgett is organized, efficient, and always ready to keep Justin on his toes. Their vows were a sweet reflection of a relationship where two very different personalities balance each other perfectly.
A Wedding Guest Book Made by Grandma
One of my favorite details from Justin and Bridgett’s Green Bay wedding was also one of the most personal.
Bridgett’s grandmother handmade a quilt for the couple, and instead of simply displaying it as a family heirloom, Bridgett turned it into a giant guest book. Guests were invited to write handwritten messages on the quilt throughout the celebration. It was such a thoughtful way to incorporate family into the wedding day.
A Wisconsin Wedding Dinner with Biebel’s Catering
After the ceremony, guests gathered for dinner catered by Biebel’s Catering & Rental.
A whole roasted pig was served alongside beans, potatoes, and plenty of hearty sides. The meal fit the relaxed, celebratory atmosphere of the day perfectly and gave everyone plenty of fuel for the party that was still ahead.
For a Wisconsin wedding, there was something especially fitting about gathering everyone together for a hearty meal before hitting the dance floor.
A Four-Layer Wedding Cake from Olde World Pastries Plus
After dinner, Justin and Bridgett cut into their beautiful wedding cake from Olde World Pastries Plus. The four-layer marble cake was finished with creamy white buttercream piping, delicate pearl accents, and an especially fun detail: figurines that looked like Justin and Bridgett. Cupcakes were also available for guests, making it easy for everyone to grab something sweet while the celebration continued. The cake was elegant without feeling overly formal—another detail that fit the couple's classic-but-fun wedding style perfectly.
Golden-Hour Portraits Along Duck Creek
After the first dances, we snuck Justin and Bridgett away for some dreamy golden-hour portraits. This is always one of my favorite parts of a wedding day. After spending hours surrounded by friends and family, the couple gets a few quiet moments together to take a breath and simply enjoy being married. The warm evening light created a beautiful backdrop for portraits, and the natural setting around Olde 41 gave us a chance to create something a little different from the brighter, more colorful imagery from earlier in the day. Then it was time to get back to the party.
A Packed Dance Floor and Late-Night Pizza
The dance floor stayed packed throughout the evening. Justin and Bridgett were right in the middle of it, keeping the energy going while still making time to step away and visit with their guests. With such a close-knit group of college friends surrounding them, the reception felt less like a formal event and more like one giant celebration with everyone they loved. Eventually, all that dancing worked up an appetite. To finish the night, pizza was brought out and kept warm beneath golden heat lamps, giving guests one final late-night snack before the celebration came to an end.
More than anything, you could feel how much support Justin and Bridgett had surrounding them.It was colorful, joyful, occasionally chaotic, and completely personal—which is exactly what a wedding should be.
As a Green Bay wedding photographer, it was such a joy to document a day where the relationships, personalities, and little unexpected moments were just as important as the beautiful details.
