The morning began in the property's beautifully restored Airbnb farmhouses, where the bridal party got ready inside charming cream city brick homes full of character and history. Mackenzie embraced a classic bridal look, wearing a timeless A-line gown paired with an elbow-length veil. Her bridesmaids wore soft blue dresses while carrying elegant arrangements of white calla lilies, creamy ranunculus, and ivory roses—crafted by her sister and maid of honor. The thoughtful, personal touch added even more meaning to an already beautiful day. Across the property, Matthew and his groomsmen looked equally timeless in dark blue suits.

One of the most touching details of the day was the small locket fastened to Mackenzie's bouquet in memory of her late father. It was a quiet but deeply meaningful tribute, allowing his presence to be felt as she walked down the aisle.

The reception took place inside the venue's barn, which was transformed into an elegant gathering space. Crisp white linens, delicate single-stem blooms displayed in bud vases, and strands of warm twinkle lights softened the rustic setting, creating a reception that felt both elevated and inviting. 

As the evening unfolded, we were given a breathtaking golden sunset! Just after cake cutting and before the dance floor filled, we slipped away for a few quiet moments with Matthew and Mackenzie. The warm light poured across the fields, wrapping the two of them in the kind of golden glow photographers dream about. Those portraits became some of the most romantic images of the entire day, capturing not only the beauty of the setting but the joy and peace the two shared together.
The evening's dances were especially meaningful. Mackenzie shared a dance with her mother before inviting her two siblings to join her on the dance floor. What was an emotional moment quickly became one filled with genuine laughter, playful teasing, and heartfelt embraces.
